Cincinnati Bengals head coach Marvin Lewis referenced WWE in a negative context during a press conference talking about superstar Wide Receiver Chad Ochocinco playfully trying to bribe an NFL official to receive a favorable call last Sunday. Ochocinco was fined $20,000 this week. “I think as I told Chad when I heard what occurred, you don’t fool with the integrity of the game in the NFL,” Lewis said. “We’re not WWE and so forth. This is a serious game for serious people.” Also of note, the last sentence in Lewis’s quote was part of Vince McMahon’s marketing when he created the XFL in answer to what he called the “No Fun League.”
