Pro Wrestler sues after he falls getting out of ring
by Jennifer Fernicola on 11.10.09

Professional wrestler Gregory Lee is suing Windy City Pro Wrestling after the stairs leading from the wrestling ring collapsed.

According to the complaint, on July 10, 2009, Lee was participating in a wrestling entertainment event at Toyota Park in Bridgeview when the stairs leading from the wrestling ring collapsed, causing him to fall and be injured.

The complaint asserts that Windy City Pro Wrestling was negligent when it, among other things, “failed to adequately light the catwalk and stairs leading from the wrestling ring.”

Lee is also suing the Village of Bridgeview, as well as a third defendant, asserting that it participated in the construction of the catwalk and stairs.
